What We Believe and Who We Are

Our Members

Venus On Top Society members come from all walks of life and many different countries. Some are able to be open about their preferred lifestyle; some are not.

We have both married and single members. We welcome and support all members who share our beliefs. Currently a majority of our members are in the USA, but we welcome members from other countries, too. Eventually we will become an international organization.

Our Beliefs

We believe that the female led relationship deserves to be known and accepted as a viable alternative to traditional marriage roles in our culture.

We believe that gender need not determine our fate nor limit our expression of love.

We believe it is time to end the secrecy and shame that has surrounded our lifestyle, and live openly and proudly as who we really are.

We believe in banding together to support each other in our personal journeys and to have fun together in an atmosphere of acceptance.

We believe in educating the public to the truth of our lifestyle and in eradicating the myths and misinformation that exist about female-led relationships.
Our Management Team

President & Chief Executive Goddess - Barbara Wright Abernathy

Barbara (Goddess B.) founded the Venus On Top Society in June 2005 to provide an online and offline community and social network for couples and singles interested in female-led relationships.

Barbara is the author of Venus On Top: Women Who Are Born To Lead And The Men Who Love Them. She is a speaker who also teaches workshops and seminars on feminine power and female led relationships. She lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband Stephen.

Vice President, Expeditor & Head "Go-fer" - Stephen Abernathy

Stephen takes care of the Goddess and their home, and assists the Society in many ways large and small. He also plays drums for several different Portland-based rock and blues bands.

Operations Manager - Debbie

Debbie (Queen Bee) is the head moderator of the forum and Venus on Top Gift Shop manager.

Business Manager - Jennifer

She manages the daily operations of the Society, maintains our website and oversees member services.
