Ten years ago Barbara Wright Abernathy was the last person you'd want to listen to about emotional equilibrium. Hers has been an arduous journey from the depths of despair to the heights of happiness.

After graduating from Syracuse University and post graduate studies at the Wetterhoff Institute in Finland, she parlayed six years in the fashion and retail industries into a successful career designing retail interiors, specializing in medical interiors.
